The mission of the Camphill Foundation is to grow, strengthen and safeguard the Camphill movement in North America. We serve the mission primarily by funding activities that increase the number of Camphill communities and Camphill inspired initiatives; the number of people served by Camphill; and the number of co-workers serving in Camphill communities.
Through the generosity of our donors, Camphill Foundation works to:

- Support communities where everyone's contributions are valued without regard to their financial assets, or their intellectual or physical capabilities

False. Every community has an active fundraising program to support their annual operating budgets as well as special projects and needs. Gifts to the Camphill Foundation are used to further the mission of Camphill by funding three strategic granting priorities - Capital Needs, Capacity Building and Coworker Development and Recruitment.

Over the last 45 years the Camphill Foundation has granted more than $3 million in seed money and low interest loans for new communities including Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, Triform Camphill Community, Camphill Village Minnesota, Camphill Communities Ontario and Heartbeet Lifesharing. Another $800,000 has been granted for capacity building projects such as establishing development offices at Camphill communities, coworker recruitment and partnerships with Americorps. And more than $1.2 million has supported infrastructure development such as new homes, new community halls and new workshops. Beyond North America, the Camphill Foundation has granted more than $650,000 to support international communities.
