Pauline Dana

Within the first hour of my visit to Camphill, upon seeing the
families and the facilities, I was genuinely touched by the selflessness I observed. I realized how fortunate the kids and adults were to be in a program that makes everybody feel needed and valued.

Camphill has done a wonderful job of creating the communities and program, and now it is our job to find ways to fund and finance those families who are not able to pay for what they really need.

Camphill Foundation embodies a spirit of community that is
inclusive, respectful, and healing. We were looking for a way to invest in fostering innovative programs and sustainable communities for people with mental and behavioral health challenges. We started the Ozzie Kwartler Fund for Community Mental Health (The OK Fund) to explore how the Foundation’s model of curative education and social therapy can be applied to improve people's lives in both urban and rural settings.

I support the Camphill Foundation because of the unique respect and care that Camphill communities show to people with developmental disabilities. This approach not only dramatically enhances the lives of our villagers, but also the lives of their families. In this way, Camphill makes a huge difference one person and one family at a time.
